I know of him more so from that film. If you haven't seen it, you must!

Also another couple good films to watch is 'Earthlings' and 'The Cove'. Very powerful films that bring to light the vile ways animals are treated. A few of my girl friends said they cried when they saw Earthlings, and my guy friends suggested not to be eating anything when watching this film. And i agree! The film is very 'in your face' when addressing the issues of animal cruelty.

And the 'The Cove' is a film that goes more into detail with one of the particular injustices you see in Earthling, concerning the treatment of dolphins in Japan. I know Japan isn't perfect, but it was a surprise to see what goes on there, considering i like a lot of the culture, when it come to the anime/art, street fashion, music, and most of all food! Sushi lovers need to watch this one too!

I'll leave links below

Also i tried eating broccoli raw, and i just can't do it! lol But i have been a broccoli lover for years. I try to cook only for a few minutes in shallow water to retain as much nutrients as i can. I don't know where people in my family got the idea to cook vegetables for so long that most of the green is now in water, plus adding salt. completely defeats the whole purpose of eating veg! Well... i guess for the fiber...but still!

And also well done on the weight lost! I have to say you've been really good! Im still struggling to get out of the bad habit of eating late at night between 11-1am, and going to bed between 3-5am, which ive been doing for the last few years, except when i have an early shift at work. lol

Im glad you're thinking of dancing as a form of exercise. Even dancing to some K-pop tunes that my friends and i really like, help us work up a sweat. Learning the moves to a song is pretty fun! :D

Junior

'Food Inc' - http://stagevu.com/video/ddccerwmpual

'Earthlings' - http://stagevu.com/video/hhzagwhtjomu

'The Cove' - http://stagevu.com/video/qjjhtwgukmndJuniornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1985172708976234939.post-21601029806626532122010-08-31T17:48:50.495+01:002010-08-31T17:48:50.495+01:00The Michael Pollan video was quite insightful.
